Since graduating with a degree in theatre 1989, Greta has worked as a freelance actor/writer across the country. After six years on the road and a stint in New York City, she moved to the Twin Cities in 1996. Locally she has been a company member at Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop, spent four years with the Minneapolis production of TONY AND TINA’S WEDDING, appeared in the world premiere of the musical BINGO at the Ordway, and is an original cast member of the hit musical CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES. Greta has also performed with Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Eye of the Storm, Theatre Unbound, Illusion Theatre, History Theatre, the Playwright’s Center, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Theatre L’Homme Dieu, Ensemble Productions, Fun with Law, has made numerous appearance at the Bryant Lake Bowl, and was thrilled to work with Martin Charnin, the creator of ANNIE, who told her she was “funny.”
But Greta is not just a comedian. A striking stage presence in any role, after her performance as Maria Callas in MASTER CLASS audiences raved, “You were transformed. I came expecting to see Greta Grosch, and I saw Maria Callas. You are not just a comedian, you are an actress.”
