The Looney Lutherans are a team of professional actresses who have come together in a fun and interactive, family-friendly show entitled USE YOUR FOOD, A GUIDE TO HEALTHY LIVING INSIDE AND OUT, FROM OUR KITCHEN TO YOURS. Using music, comedy and some help from the audience, these talented ladies celebrate health and wellness, the Lutheran way.

Each of these talented women has been performing for years as actresses, singers and improvisers in the Twin Cities and across the country. Currently they are all cast members of the hit musical CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES, which has been running at the Plymouth Playhouse since 2005.

Performances will include a variety of segments on healthy living the Lutheran way including discussion of the Lutheran “food wheel” (all roads lead to hotdish) and a performance of the Lutheran food rap (“Eat Like a Lutheran”), and exercising the Lutheran way (using products from your very own pantry you can create a healthy body).

All original material is comedic, family friendly, and interactive.
